Holloween Costume

Yes parents, it is time to choose a Holloween costume for the kids. Ah, such a glorious occasion. The thought of going shopping for that first costume or even a new one can be disheartening. Mainly because we never seem to get it right in their eyes.


Now that is not true for the newborns or even the first couple of years. Those are pretty cute times because we get to choose those for our kids. It is when they start talking with their friends or at child care where they discover they are individuals with their own personalities that the problems occur.


How many of you can think back and remember that exact time when you went shoping for that Holloween costume and realized that life as we know it had changed? When we discovered that our cute child or children had maybe seen one to many cartoons or cartoon characters and wanted to become that character. No more cute bunnies, piglets, Snow White or yes even Barney. They had gone over to the dark side.


Our one saving grace is that this only happens once a year like those other future holidays. It will be rough but we can handle these situations. Now here is a thought, why wait until the last minute to accomplish this pleasant chore. Let's go out there right now and get that Holloween costume. Put those worries behind you and you could be one of those few parents who get to sit back and watch the rest of us as we struggle with trying to find the right holloween costume. It will be something we can agree on together with our kids and even better something they still have in stock in the stores so we do not get caught with the leftovers. Happy hunting.
